Glucose Reset

A food-first pattern people study while working on insulin-aware eating.

ChromiumOmega-3PotassiumMagnesiumPlant fiberCholine

The plate

  • 75%non-starchy vegetables
  • 18%protein
  • 7%added fat

Steps

  1. 01This is a grocery pattern, not a prescription. Keep your clinician in the loop — especially if you take glucose-lowering medicine.
  2. 02Build every plate as a meadow: non-starchy vegetables first, a palm of protein, fat as the dressing. Skip juice, soda, and ‘healthy’ granola.
  3. 03Walk ten minutes after meals. Muscles soak up glucose without a lecture.
  4. 04Salt food. When insulin falls, sodium walks out — headaches are not a moral failing.
  5. 05If you already use a glucose meter, note meals, not just mornings. Bring the log to your clinician.

Eat

  • Leafy greens
  • Broccoli
  • Eggs
  • Olive oil
  • Fatty fish
  • Avocado
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Cinnamon (food)

Skip

  • Fruit juice
  • ‘Diet’ maltodextrin
  • Cheat weekends
  • Skipping medicine because a plate looked virtuous

Food-first notes

  • Marine omega-3

Cools joints, supports brain and skin, balances the omega-6 load of modern food.

  • Electrolyte powder

The first stack in almost every Healthy Keto protocol. Replaces what the kidneys dump when insulin falls.

  • Apple cider vinegar

A pre-meal bitter that many keto protocols use for cravings and post-meal glucose.

  • Magnesium glycinate

Sleep, cramps, and vitamin D activation. Oxide is cheap and poorly absorbed for many.

KetoLab does not treat, prevent, or cure diabetes. Insulin, sulfonylureas, and SGLT2 drugs can drop glucose too far when carbs fall — coordinate every change with the prescriber who knows you. Educational only — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
